Stone coated metal roof tile use aluminum zinc coated steel sheet (also call galvalume steel and PPGL) as the base, covered by natural stone chips and acrylic resin glue. The weight is only 1/6 of the traditional tile and it is easy to install.

Sangobuild roofing tiles are coated with CARLAC(CL) natural stone chips which be taken from quarries in French and it also supplies the stone chips to the factories for stone coated roof tile in New Zealand, South of Korea, and the USA.
